Polygon Streaming

Converter 3.3.4

Polygon Streaming Converter 3.3.4 ships four significant improvements for developers working with large or complex 3D models.

  • GPU Instancing Support
GPU instancing is now supported in the Converter, so large models with repeated geometry render more efficiently. Scenes that use instanced meshes will see meaningful performance gains and reduced rendering overhead.
  • Texture Baking Improvements
Texture baking is more stable and produces more accurate output. Material handling, texture property resolution, and baked results are all more reliable in this release.
  • Automatic Collider Generation Improvements
The algorithm that automatically generates collision meshes during conversion has been improved, producing more accurate and consistent results without manual intervention.
  • Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
This release also includes multiple bug fixes and optimizations across instancing, materials, texture baking, and the broader conversion pipeline.

Console Updates

The Polygon Streaming Console has been updated with three changes: automatic collider generation is now integrated directly into the Console UI (no longer a separate step), pressing C switches to the first camera and forces a re-render to toggle mesh visibility, and a security issue in the VMS layer has been resolved.

Terms of Use Updated

The VIVERSE General Terms of Use and the Creator Platform Agreement have been updated. The changes clarify creator rights and ownership, update platform monetization details to reflect current programs, and explicitly state VIVERSE’s policy on AI training and data use: VIVERSE does not use your uploaded content or user data to train AI models.

If you’re a creator, we recommend reading through the updated agreements. You can find them at viverse.com/terms-of-use.

Wrap-Up

That’s what shipped in February! If you’ve been waiting for a straightforward way to earn from your content on VIVERSE, now is the time to enroll in the Partner Program and start publishing. If you’re building with Polygon Streaming, Converter 3.3.4 is worth the upgrade for the GPU instancing support alone. Keep creating, keep publishing, and we’ll keep building the tools to help you grow.
