What’s new in VIVERSE; November 2025 Updates
More Control, Clearer Tools, and What’s Next for Monetization

This month’s updates are the kind you feel while you’re actually building. Fewer “wait, where is that setting?” moments, more control over how your world shows up on first load, and some nice quality bumps behind the scenes. If you’ve been polishing a space, testing new features, or keeping an eye on premium tools, there’s a lot here that should make your day-to-day smoother.
Persona
Persona is a VIVERSE for Business feature and is still in early access. This update adds a handful of improvements that make chats feel more natural, especially if you’re coming back to the same Persona character over time.
What’s new:
- Persistent chat history so your previous conversations stick around
- Conversation starters to help you jump in quickly
- Smart follow-up questions for better context
- Custom prompts for more tailored interactions
Access remains limited to a designated whitelist during early access. Request access!
E-Commerce, First Impressions, & Content Review
Label 3D e-commerce objects
Ever wish you could just… label the dang thing? 3D E-Commerce now supports Info Cards, so you can drop a description right next to an object and give visitors the context you want them to have. Multiple objects in the same room can each have their own card, and Info Cards work in VR too!

Improve first impressions of your 3D objects
You can now set a preferred default camera angle for your 3D scanned objects or rooms, which means visitors land on the view you intended right away. No more hoping people spin around to find the “main” moment of your content.

Clearer content review signals
You’ll now get a platform notification for World content review results, including publish or reject outcomes. It’s a small change, but it saves a lot of checking and second-guessing.
Polygon Streaming
If you’re streaming heavier models, this one’s a nice boost. Polygon Streaming now supports AI-powered Texture Enhancement when converting models with High/Ultra texture quality selected. During conversion, textures can be analyzed, enhanced, and upscaled using an internal AI neural network to improve results for 3D models.

Console and Development
Tooltips, error codes, and fewer “wait, what does this mean?” moments
We’ve added clearer tooltips to the console for commonly confusing options and metrics, including texture quality, storage, streaming usage, and preview options. Error messages now also show an error code after the message, which should make troubleshooting less of a guessing game.
Web SDK update and screenshot capture fix
The Web SDK is updated to version 2.6.7, and a ghosting issue caused by TAA during screenshot capture has been fixed. Review the changelog.
Policies
Updated Terms of Use, simplified and clarified
We’ve consolidated the Terms of Use into two documents: VIVERSE General and VIVERSE Developer. If you don’t love reading legal docs (same!), the important part is that the updates spell out creator-first protections more clearly, while setting the stage for monetization tools.
Key points:
- Creation ownership: you keep full rights to what you create, with VIVERSE’s license limited to operating, hosting, and displaying content
- AI protections: no training on your inputs or outputs unless you explicitly opt in, and third-party AI tools require separate consent
- Monetization baseline: net revenue share is 80% creator / 20% platform, plus potential promotional periods or individual deals for premium and paid content
- Optional promotion: you can opt in or out of having content featured in marketing or bundles
- NFT features are retired: minting, buying, selling, and listing NFTs are no longer supported after the effective date
Monetization comes to VIVERSE
Monetization features are rolling out as part of a broader suite, and they won’t require a Creator Program contract. After a closed beta period, creators will be able to monetize work on VIVERSE more broadly, including early premium formats like channel subscriptions and one-time purchases.
A clearer reporting flow to improve trust and safety
A Report button is being added on the Content detail page and in comments, so it’s easier to flag issues without digging around.

Studio and Uploads
VIVERSE Studio and CLI uploads now support .bin files, which makes life easier for pipelines that rely on that format as part of their asset workflow.
That’s the update!
Overall, this update is for the moments that usually slow you down: when someone opens your world for the first time, when you’re trying to explain an object without writing a paragraph, or when a setting label isn’t doing you any favors.
A few highlights worth calling out again:
- Persona Early Access got smoother with better continuity and prompts
- 3D E-Commerce got more “show-and-tell” friendly with Info Cards, scanning rooms now let you choose the default camera angle
- Polygon Streaming picked up a quality boost with Texture Enhancement.
On top of that, you’ll see:
- clearer content notifications;
- a more straightforward reporting flow;
- and less guesswork in the console thanks to improved tooltips and error codes.
If you’ve got a world in progress, do a quick tune-up, run a quick share test with a friend or teammate, and keep an eye on premium tools as they continue rolling out.
