Monetization Is Now Here! Earn from your games, apps, art, and more.
Updated 02/26/2026. We’ve launched the VIVERSE Partner Program for creators to begin earning money on their web-based content (games, art, apps, tools, video, film, and more!). Visit the Partner Program to learn more and enroll today!

Creators have been asking for new ways to earn on VIVERSE, and today we get to share something big! Monetization tools are now expanding beyond the Creator Program. Anyone publishing on VIVERSE can start earning from their work through one-time purchases and channel subscriptions. This update marks the next step in building an open ecosystem where your work can grow, sustain, and reward your efforts.
Our goal is simple. Give you fair, transparent monetization options that help you build lasting communities around your content.
Why Monetization Matters
Creators shape VIVERSE. You build the worlds people explore, the games they play, the stories they share, and the communities they join. Monetization is our way of supporting that future. This update gives you more ownership, more autonomy, and more paths to grow your success on the open web.
This post explains the new features, how they work for players, how to get started as a creator, and what comes next.
What Players Can Buy Right Now
Players can now support creators directly through two paid content formats: one-time purchases, and channel subscriptions. We’re working on more direct support options, and here’s some of what we intend to bring on board in 2026:
- Ad revenue sharing
- In-app purchases
- Tipping
…and there’s more we’ll be able to share when we achieve our current ambitions.
Let’s take a look at the two options currently being beta tested.
One-Time Purchases
Players can purchase one-time premium content, like an individual VIVERSE experience. After purchasing, players can permanently access their paid-for content.

Channel Subscriptions
Players can subscribe to a creator channel to unlock exclusive content. This is a great fit for creators who release ongoing updates, behind-the-scenes content, special events, or members-only worlds.
Both options are live in beta today, which we expect to run until the end of 2025.

How Game Monetization Works on VIVERSE
VIVERSE now supports monetization for anyone publishing content, not only creators in the Creator Program.
Creators can mix or layer these models depending on their project and audience.
Supported Models
- One-time purchases for premium worlds, games, apps, tools, and more.
- Channel subscriptions for member-only content, perks, and recurring drops.
- Creator Program contracts for funded projects.
More models are planned as monetization features expand. If there are monetization tools you’d like to see that aren’t on our roadmap, join the VIVERSE Discord server, and let us know your thoughts in #monetization.

- Beta testers: Even higher during the beta period to thank early adopters
These terms apply platform-wide and follow the updated Developer Platform Agreement and Terms of Use.
