We’ve refreshed our Terms of Use to make it clearer than ever: you keep ownership of everything you create or upload on VIVERSE. This update reflects our continued commitment to protecting your creative rights and helping you publish with confidence.
Here’s what’s included in the VIVERSE Terms of Use update and how it protects creators across the platform:
- You keep your rights: Your worlds, your work. Our license only covers what’s needed to host and display your content—nothing more.
- Optional promotions: Off by default, you can choose to have your content featured in VIVERSE marketing or bundles by explicitly opting in. You can opt out at any time.
- AI protections: Your data is yours. VIVERSE won’t use your inputs or outputs to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in.
- NFT retirement: NFT-related transactions (minting, buying, selling, listing) are being retired as of the new Terms’ effective date.
These updates took effect on November 5, 2025, and are designed to provide you with more transparency, choice, and peace of mind as you build, share, and grow across VIVERSE.
