VIVERSE Partner Program: A New Creator Monetization Path
Today we announce VIVERSE’s non-exclusive path for web developers to publish and monetize their experiences on the web: the VIVERSE Partner Program. In this post, you’ll learn about who the Partner Program is for, how much you can earn, and how to reach a wider audience by embedding your experience.
If you’re creating web-native games, art, videos, and apps, you’ve probably felt the gap. You can publish almost anywhere, but getting paid is usually tied to ads, opaque formulas, or hoops that slow you down. That’s why we built the VIVERSE Partner Program.
Now live, the Partner Program is a non-exclusive program that rewards real engagement based on visits and attention, not on ads. You can keep publishing wherever you want, growing your audience across your favorite platforms while you also publish and earn on VIVERSE.
Monetization without the guesswork
Most creators don’t need more ways to post. They need earnings they can understand without needing a slideshow or spreadsheet to get there. When earnings feel unpredictable, and they depend on variables you can’t control, it’s hard to plan, harder to grow, and easy to burn out.
Works at any growth stage
This program works whether you’re sharing your first prototype or running a regular schedule of content releases. And, in the next section, we’ll break down how our earnings calculator works, plus examples at different audience sizes so you can visualize your potential income and set engagement goals.
How to make money with our Partner Program
Here’s the simplest way to think about it: your baseline rewards you for unique plays (your reach), then the repeat plays reward you for building something people want more of.
The calculator we’ve shared on the Partner Program website is currently based on unique players, with no input for repeat plays at this time. (We share the full payout formula below in our examples with both play types factored in.) A player counts once they hit the 30-second threshold. After that, repeat plays from the same player can increase earnings, up to a capped maximum of 10 repeat plays per player in that same 30-day period.
So, how much can you make?
We’re sharing our base model, as well as using examples of calculations at varying audience sizes to shed light on the simplicity of our Partner Program earnings model. You can use our interactive calculator for additional potential outcomes!
Our base formula:
Our partner program pays out using a rate of $0.002 USD per unique player, and a rate of $0.001 for repeat plays. Without getting too math-y, we find it easier to represent potential earnings using whole dollar amounts. So, instead of using the exact calculator formula in this post…
Here it is, if you like decimal points a lot:
U x ($0.002 + $0.001r) = Earnings
U = Unique players | r = repeat plays
…we’ll be using an adjusted version in our later examples to make it easier to follow:
U/1000 x ($2 + $1r) = Earnings
U = Unique players | r = repeat plays
Once you read this section, you should have a clear understanding of how our payment calculator works and how much you can potentially make.
Please note that all currency references are in USD.
Smaller creator, focused on growth
Let’s say you drive 5,000 unique players a month. Your content is brand new, so you average 1 repeat play per player. That works out to $3 per 1,000 unique players in that 30-day window, for an estimated $15 in the month.
Quick calculation formula: 5,000 unique players = 5 x ($2 + $1) = $15 USD.
NOTE: 5 = 5,000 / 1,000, or 5 groups of 1,000 for easier math.
At this pace, you’d typically hit the $50 cash out minimum in about four months, depending on consistency and how you promote your work.
Mid-range creator with an established audience
Now imagine you have a steady community and pull 50,000 unique players in a month. Your content is stickier, so you average 3 repeat plays per player. That works out to $5 per 1,000 unique players, for an estimated $250 in the month.
Quick calculation formula: 50,000 unique players = 50 x ($2 + $3) = $250 USD.
NOTE: 50 = 50,000 / 1,000, or 50 groups of 1,000 for easier math.
At this size, you usually clear the cash out minimum within the same month, assuming eligible plays.
Large creator or team with a captive audience
For a larger creator, team, or studio, let’s use 500,000 unique players in a month. With strong retention, you average 5 repeat plays per player. That works out to $7 per 1,000 unique players, for an estimated $3,500 in the month.
Quick calculation formula: 500,000 unique players = 500 x ($2 + $5) = $3,500 USD.
NOTE: 500 = 500,000 / 1,000, or 500 groups of 1,000 for easier math.
At this scale, cash outs are more about timing than thresholds, since you pass the $50 cash out minimum quickly.
Note: All calculations below are estimated earnings, not maximum potential earnings.
| Creator size | Monthly unique players | Avg repeat plays per player (within 30 days, capped at 10) | Est. $ per 1,000 unique players | Est. monthly earnings | Base-only earnings (no repeats) | Potential Earnings (10 repeats) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New | 1,000 | 0 | $2 | $2 | $2 | $12 |
| Small | 5,000 | 1 | $3 | $15 | $10 | $60 |
| Medium | 50,000 | 3 | $5 | $250 | $100 | $600 |
| Large | 500,000 | 5 | $7 | $3,500 | $1,000 | $6,000 |
Note: All calculations above are estimated earnings, not maximum potential earnings.
Cash out timing
Your monthly rate per 1,000 unique players starts at $2 and repeat plays can increase it up to a capped maximum of 10 repeat plays per player within the same 30-day window. Once you hit the $50 USD minimum, you can request a cash out, which is processed on the 5th of each month. Funds typically arrive 7–14 business days after processing.
Example
If you cross $50 USD on April 20th and request a cash out, your request will be processed by May 5th, and you’ll receive funds between May 12th and May 19th.
Publish, share, and embed to grow faster
The fastest way to build momentum is to increase entry points, then make it easy for people to jump in. Publish your experience on VIVERSE, share the link across your social media, and guide your audience toward the places they already trust.
More entry points, more control
VIVERSE content can be embedded via an iFrame! You can publish on VIVERSE and embed your content on your own website, portfolio, or a custom landing page for the project. That gives you more entry points and more control over how people discover your work. If you already drive traffic to a homepage, embedding gives visitors a one-click way to jump in.

Publishing on VIVERSE
If it’s built for the web, you can publish it on VIVERSE. Support for multiple engines (Godot, Threejs, Unity, et al) makes it easier to release with the tools you already use. And that flexibility matters because creators publish all kinds of projects here.
Creators on VIVERSE are developing or porting games, launching interactive web apps, creating art, and publishing video content. Plus, advanced formats like digital twins, 3D Gaussian splats or photogrammetry of real-world locations, and more!

A unique play is counted once per person within a 30-day window, after they meet the minimum engagement threshold (the 30-second requirement referenced in the calculator section).
Repeat plays can increase earnings within that same 30-day window. The calculator uses an average repeat play rate per player, and it caps repeats per player at a maximum amount for the period.
